This is the Kenwood sponsored Kremer Racing, Porsche 962C as raced in the 1986 Le Mans 24 Hour race.

The car was driven by Jo Gartner, Sarel Van Der Merwe and Kunimitsu Takahashi.

The car was powered by the Porsche 935/76 flat 6 DOHC 2.6L engine.

During the night the car suffered transmission failure resulting in pitching the car into the guard rails and then a telegraph pole before catching fire. Driver Jo Gartner was tragically killed instantly.
